Wayne Walker Superannuation Consultant, Deloitte Actuaries & Consultants Limited (at time of writing) Wayne Walker is a Partner of Deloitte Australia, based in Melbourne. He joined Deloitte in December 2006, with the merger of Buttler Walker Actuaries and Deloitte. Wayne's career began at Mercer where he became the executive director responsible for its superannuation business through the 1990s. This included the development of the Mercer Master Trust and the expansion of Mercer into product and service delivery across the entire superannuation industry. In 2000 he established Rice Walker, then Buttler Walker, as an independent consulting firm delivering advice to the superannuation industry. Wayne is a past Chair, and current member of the Institute of Actuaries Superannuation and Employee Benefits Committee. Wayne and his team possess deep technical knowledge of Australian superannuation, in addition to extensive actuarial skills and training in the financing of employee benefits. Between them, they hold considerable experience in managing and guiding significant superannuation businesses.
