Dominic McCormick Chief Investment Officer & Executive Director, Select Investment Partners Limited (at time of writing) Dominic McCormick BEc (Syd), MCom (NSW), ASIA, co-founded SELECT in 2002 and is SELECT's chief investment officer. McCormick's expertise, particularly in relation to absolute return investments, became the foundation for the SELECT Defensive and Growth Portfolios launched in December 2002. McCormick has overall responsibility for investment strategy and research of SELECT's range of absolute return focused portfolios. Prior to co-founding SELECT, he provided investment consultant advice to a number of Australia's major financial planning organisations. He joined the research area of Bridges in 1993 and in 1996 was promoted to head of research where he remained until 2001. From 1990 to 1993 he worked in the research area of Pembroke Financial Planners. Prior to this he worked at AMP where his career in financial services began in 1985. Overall, McCormick has worked in financial services and investment management for over 19 years.
