I agree with you 100%. There are far too many people with SMSFs who have little understanding of the pros and cons and responsibilities of trustee. Far too many retirees where an SMSF will become an estate planning issue, and your point on who benefits is spot on.
That's spot on, Steve - I didn't even touch on the stage planning nightmare that's coming down the pipe.
